Collective stewardship is about acknowledging that we are all in this together
There is now worldwide acknowledgement that modern worldviews and governance systems are resulting in drastic human and biosphere degradation, together with destructive shifts in global climate regulation. Creating global flourishing requires significant systemic changes at many levels, from individual behaviours to community actions and changes in local and global policies .
At the heart of this opportunity for transformation is the recognition that we do not live in isolation from other species, and are, instead, part of a living and vibrantly sentient universe, with the thoughts, values and social behaviours of human populations directly impacting the wellbeing of all life.
The Unitive Wisdom Collaborative aims to affirm the regenerative capacities of ancient and indigenous wisdom traditions, and how they are now being translated into a new understanding of planetary health, healing and emergent futures, with flourishing seen as a systemic property of loving self and others into full being and creative expression.
It is one of the core Action Labs currently being developed in alignment with Unitive Age CoLab initiative.
